In this class, I’ll show you how to make unique text in Photoshop. All you’ll need is Photoshop 2020 to follow along. This class is aimed at anyone who’s new to Photoshop and wants to learn how to make some interesting looking text.
There are limitless ways to create unique text in Photoshop. In this class, I’ll cover some of the major ways to make text unique by combining a variety of tools and features. Follow this class and you’ll learn how to:
Create a workspace area to compare your text creations against each other.
Use the text tool to create text in Photoshop and learn how to resize it.
Change font and add additional fonts to your system from font websites.
Change text and background colour covering single, multiple, gradient and pattern.
Warp text to make it distort in many ways.
Adjust character spacing and case.
Apply text effects like drop shadow, emboss and more.
Rasterise text and manipulate it further using other tools.
Save out your final text in an image format so you can use it in your projects.
Once you’ve gone through all the steps, you’ll have a good understanding of how to create countless different styles of text.
